Des s\u00e9minaires de formation sont offerts aux \u00e9tudiants de l&#8217;\u00e9cole d&#8217;architecture aux \u00e9tudiants gradu\u00e9s int\u00e9grant les projets du Groupe de recherche en ambiances physiques.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Style54\" align=\"justify\"><em>Complementary numerical simulation tools, developed in other university of private centers are used on a regular basis for research and teaching purposes. Training seminars are offered to students involved in research projects undertaken at the Groupe de recherche en ambiances physiques.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"#IES(VE)\">IES(VE)<\/a><br \/>\n<\/b><b><a href=\"#Ecotect Analysis\">Ecotect Analysis<\/a><\/b><br \/>\n<b><a href=\"#EnergyPlus Energy Analysis\">EnergyPlus Energy Analysis<\/a><\/b><br \/>\n<b><a href=\"#Photosphere\">Photosphere<\/a><\/b><br \/>\n<b><a href=\"#Culplite\">Culplite<\/a><\/b><br \/>\n<b><a href=\"#Revit (BIM)\">Revit (BIM)<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a name=\"IES(VE)\"><\/a><strong><span class=\"Style55\">IES(VE)\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.iesve.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Integrated Environmental Solutions (IES)<\/a> <span class=\"Style45\">est la suite de logiciels avanc\u00e9s de simulation des ambiances physiques lumineuses, thermiques et acoustiques. Elle int\u00e8gre les logiciels tels Radiance, le logiciel de simulation de la lumi\u00e8re le plus perfectionn\u00e9. Les \u00e9tudiants et chercheurs du GRAP utilisent IES(VE) depuis janvier 2009 en enseignement et en recherche. En exemple, le logiciel permet de simuler diff\u00e9rentes conditions lumineuses \u00e0 diff\u00e9rentes moments du jour et de l&#8217;ann\u00e9e. Les r\u00e9sultats obtenus permettent une \u00e9valuation \u00e0 la fois qualitative et quantitative d&#8217;un espace.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a name=\"Ecotect Analysis\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><span class=\"Style55\">Ecotect Analysis (<\/span><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/knowledge.autodesk.com\/support\/ecotect-analysis\/troubleshooting\/caas\/sfdcarticles\/sfdcarticles\/Ecotect-Analysis-Discontinuation-FAQ.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Autodesk<\/a>)\u00a0est un logiciel utilis\u00e9 \u00e0 des fins p\u00e9dagogiques par les \u00e9tudiants de la ma\u00eetrise en ambiances physiques \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00c9cole d&#8217;architecture de l&#8217;Universit\u00e9 Laval. Il permet de simuler les conditions lumineuses, thermiques et acoustiques d&#8217;un projet. Des validations entre les r\u00e9sultats obtenus \u00e0 l&#8217;aide d&#8217;Ecotect, le ciel artificiel ainsi que <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grap.arc.ulaval.ca\/outils\/developpes-au-grap.html\/#06\">LUMcalcul<\/a> ont \u00e9t\u00e9 effectu\u00e9e lors du contrat de recherche pour le Centre de Transformation du Bois Ouvr\u00e9 (CTBO) par <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grap.arc.ulaval.ca\/a-propos\/claude-demers.html\">Claude MH Demers<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a name=\"EnergyPlus Energy Analysis\"><\/a><strong><span class=\"Style55\">EnergyPlus Energy Analysis<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0is a building energy simulation program for modeling building heating, cooling, lighting, ventilating, and other energy flows. EnergyPlus models heating, cooling, lighting, ventilating, and other energy flows as well as water in buildings. While originally based on the most popular features and capabilities of BLAST and DOE-2, EnergyPlus includes many innovative simulation capabilities such as time steps of less than an hour, modular systems and plant integrated with heat balance-based zone simulation, multizone air flow, thermal comfort, water use, natural ventilation, and photovoltaic systems.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/apps1.eere.energy.gov\/buildings\/energyplus\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-305 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/www.grap.arc.ulaval.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2021\/02\/lien-ext.gif\" alt=\"Lien externe\" width=\"10\" height=\"10\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a name=\"Photosphere\"><\/a><strong><span class=\"Style55\">Photosphere<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0is an image browsing and cataloging software designed by Gregg Ward, which allows for the creation of HDR (high dynamic range) images from hand-held exposure bracketed images with much more precision than other commercially available software. Used with Culplite, and ideally calibrated with a luminancemetre, it can provide glare analysis with great accuracy. Photosphere is a user-friendly application for creating and cataloging high dynamic-range images (HDRI). More akin to photographic negatives than standard TIFF or JPEG images, an HDRI has enough latitude to permit re-exposing regions in order to bring out detail in highlights and shadows. Creating an HDRI requires either a specialized camera or a standard camera and multiple exposures of a static scene. In this talk, the speaker will give an overview of the Photosphere application and give a live demo of HDRI creation using a consumer-grade digital camera, which yields a photometric image in CIE XYZ coordinates. Photometric images have uses beyond standard photography, enabling applications in lighting and visibility analysis. In addition, we will demonstrate some of the program&#8217;s other helpful and unique features for browsing and tracking digital imagery.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.anyhere.com\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-305 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/www.grap.arc.ulaval.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2021\/02\/lien-ext.gif\" alt=\"Lien externe\" width=\"10\" height=\"10\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<a name=\"Culplite\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"Style55\"><strong>Culplite<\/strong>\u00a0is an Excel spreadsheet developed by Jeff Culp, professor at Ball State University, to provide glare analysis of existing spaces using photographs and spot luminance measurements. It is used in conjunction with a Luminancemetre and Photosphere to calibrate a digital image.
