Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la mobilisation de l&#8217;expertise scientifique, l&#8217;initiative se donne pour but d&#8217;identifier les solutions permettant de surmonter les obstacles \u00e0 la mise en oeuvre d&#8217;un tel d\u00e9veloppement. \u00a0\/\u00a0<em>Since the Rio+20 Conference, he has repeatedly called for a greater contribution of science to resolve environmental problems. Responding to this call, Catherine Potvin has convened colleagues from 30 Canadian universities to join her in a collective initiative called\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sustainablecanadadialogues.ca\/en\/scd\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sustainable Canada Dialogues<\/a> (SCD). Une maquette fut utilis\u00e9e pour mesurer \u00e0 l&#8217;aide d&#8217;un photom\u00e8tre en milieu r\u00e9el les niveaux d&#8217;\u00e9clairement sur rue et en fa\u00e7ade de la proposition de design optimale (photo de gauche).
