New Research Equipment: Artificial Sky

Inauguration of a new artificial sky for daylighting research, measuring 2,4m x 2,4m x 2,4m, in September 2015. This version will become available to registered students in architecture research programs (MSc and PhD). Above : André Potvin within the sky, then in construction. The mirrors, diffusers and other opaque surfaces are now installed, and the laboratory will be functional later during the Fall semester. Artificial sky design: A Potvin, Demers C , C Du Montier. Construction: A and C Potvin Demers-Potvin.

Researchers of the GRAP would like to thank the SSHRC (Research Council for Humanities From Canada), which was responsible for funding the development of this new equipment.
